Match: RFID Tag Numbers If you have an RFID tag number, you can search for individuals associated with that number. In most instances this search will return at most one individual, since RFID tag numbers are unique and normally associated with consumer goods in the sole possession of one person. However, it is possible that a tag number may be associated with multiple individuals -- for example, the merchant who sold the item to a customer may report the purchaser's name to us (having obtained it through the credit card transaction record or via other means), and a subsequent match record may have been created by another merchant or other RFID scanner operator after the item was given or resold to another person. You can also search this database by entering an individual's name. The search results will list all of the individuals with identical or similar names contained in the database. Geographic and demographic information, where available, will also be included in the search results in order to assist you in selecting the appropriate data subject (e.g., postal code, date of birth, gender, ethnicity). Once you have selected a data subject from the search results, you will be able to view any RFID tag numbers contained in the database that are associated with that individual.
